After enjoying stints as a collegiate track and field athlete at Abilene Christian University and Texas Tech University, Billie Jo Davis earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Literature and Spanish from the University of North Texas. An Alpha Phi sorority member and volunteer for Big Brothers/Big Sisters, Davis was named to the University's Dean's List and President’s List in recognition for her academic excellence.
Following her graduation, Billie Jo Davis was hired as a Business Account Manager for First Choice Power, a utilities company serving the Dallas-Fort Worth area. While at First Choice Power, Davis managed customer accounts in seven regions and worked to ensure the continued business of those clients.
In 2008, Billie Jo Davis accepted a position as a Spinal Implant Sales Representative and Regional Trainer for the medical equipment manufacturer Exactech. In addition to selling medical devices to neurosurgeons and medical facilities, Billie Jo Davis assisted in the launch and education of new medical devices and she trained others in Biologics, which can include bone graft and platelet-rich plasma that can be used during spinal fusion surgeries to help the healing process. She also handled some of the company's most high-volume accounts and was tasked with keeping those clients satisfied with Exactech products. As recognition for her drive, teamwork, and success, Billie Jo Davis became a team member of the “Agency of the Year” at Exactech. This group of hard-working professionals sold millions of dollars worth of product, more than any other agency in the entire country.
Billie Jo Davis currently leverages her proven track record of building and strengthening business relationships by working as a Medical Device Spine Sales Representative for Infinity Medical. Specializing in spinal implants, she advises neurosurgeons in the operating room with regards to equipment and the correct sizing of implants, plates, screws, and the needed amounts of bone graft that should be used in particular cases.
Outside of work, Billie Jo Davis contributes her time and resources to a number of organizations, including Habitat for Humanity and the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center.
